The series' tagline — "Pilgrimage is not about the destination; it's about the journey" — may have attracted you at the outset of this study because it was so open-ended and the end of the study so far into the future. Now, you may be terrified to step away from the safety and familiarity of the group to make your own path.
Don't give in to inertia! It's not that overwhelming. And you're not alone.
"As you step out into the world, remember that your vocation is a moment-by-moment, breath-by-breath series of opportunities and choices," writes Oliver. "God has created you perfectly for participation in this crazy world. …Remember the risen Christ is willing to be your constant traveling companion."
In this volume, you'll see your vocation as the divine call to be radically available to God — wherever your path leads. Investigate your faith stories (so far) and consider your gifts.
