Companions Training Events

Events scheduled for 2008 are listed below. Registration for these events will be available on this site soon. Visit again for updated information.

Unless otherwise noted, 1-Day events begin with registration at 8:30 am and the first session at 9:00 am. The events end at 4:30 pm.

One form is required for each participant.  Print-and-send form may also prove helpful when gathering group registration information prior to online enrollment.

1-Day Leader Training Events provide:

• Leader preparation for Companions in Christ, the Foundational Resource
• An introduction to the entire Companions in Christ series
• Time to experience the Companions in Christ series
• An opportunity to observe the distinct leadership skills essential for Companions in Christ
• Discussion of formational leadership skills
• Guidance in starting Companions in Christ groups
• Connection with an Upper Room Ministries support network
• Registrants receive essential Companions in Christ resources: Participant's Book, Leader's Guide, and Journal.

Registration Fees:

• $90 Early Bird Registration (received 4 weeks prior to event)
• $100 Regular Registration
• Congregations registering more than four participants are eligible to receive $150 in Companions resources. Please call the Companions in Christ Training Office for information at 1-877-899-2781 x7525. Or email companions@upperroom.org.
• Breaks and lunches are included in the registration fee.
• Registrants are responsible for travel and room accommodations.

Registration Instructions:

• On-line registrations can be paid by credit card or electronic check only.
• Payment must be received in order to register.
• If you are registering a group:
• Please have contact information for each registrant, including email address, prior to registration.
• To register a group member with no email address, please use the email address of the person registering the group.
• All registration confirmation is sent via email. Please notify anyone in your group without email of his/her registration.

Cancellation Information

If you must cancel, please call our Special Services operators during business hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, central time.

• Change of location: Any change of location is considered a cancellation and re-registration is required.
• Up to Four weeks prior to event: Full refund.
• Up to Two weeks prior to event: 50% refund.
• Up to One week prior to event: No refund, but registrant will receive all Companions in Christ resources distributed to registrants at the event. Call 1-877-899-2780 x7525.
• Emergency cancellations: Handled individually by the Companions in Christ training office. Call 1-877-899-2780 x7525.
