Singing Praises
October 30th, 2009Friday’s Reflection
AWESOME CREATOR God,
you made springs of water
cascade between the mountains
and rush to flood my heart with re-creation and gladness.
I lift up my voice
and sing praises to my Maker
from whom all blessings flow.
Amen.

Today’s Scripture Reading
Who has the right to go up to the LORD’s hill? Who may enter his holy Temple? Those who are pure in act and in thought, who do not worship idols or make false promises.
- Psalm 24:3-4, GNT
This Week …
- Special Need:
- This Week: Pray for saints and martyrs. Add your prayer to the Prayer Wall.
- Tips for Your Spirit:
- Why Saints? Observing saints more closely reveals that they were ordinary people just like us. What set them apart was their life purpose. More than anything else, they wanted to know God. So despite their faults and frailties, they have much to teach us. Learn from Saints.

In the key of See. See the wonders of the Lord. See his mercies, new each day. See his love that paid our debt on the cross. See his wing that covers us in the storm. See his heart of love that forgives our sins. See all the wonders the Lord has made and done and let your heart sing his praises. Great is our God and greatly to be praised. God gave the song. Amen.

Father – I praise You that I am Your child. Thank you for naming me, claiming me and redeeming me. I desire to walk worthy of that – and I need You for that. Thanks for being near me always.

Father, I praise my family this morning, my husband, daughter and the rest of my loving famliy. I praise everyone I have met the last few weeks and lift them up for your unending blesses. I praise the fall weather, which I love so much. I praise my situation, as it is helping me to grow spiritually.

Lord, I don’t spend enough time praising You, but I should. For it is YOU who has changed my life. YOU brought me back from the brink of death and from the gutter where my life once was. Your grace,Your mercy
and love for me has given me the strength to overcome the addictions that nearly destroyed me.
Your love has given me a second chance at life.
I will spend the rest of my life on this earth praising You Father, until I see You face to face some glorious day in YOUR Kingdom….Heaven.

Praises and Glory be to thee Lord God Almighty dear Father in heaven. Thou art the only one worthy of praise.
My praises and thanks to Thee, for all that Thou art for me, my family far and near, loved ones and even for those who have hurt me. Thanks and praises to You for the past, present and future. Thank You Father, we are never alone,as You have promised to be with us always. Forgive our lack of faith and increase our trust in You for Your glory and praise.
If I remember right there is this praise,, I have learned and often pray ” Oh praise Him,Oh praise Him, for He is gracious and His mercy endureth, endureth for ever.”.

Key of See, indeed. Nice one.
Beautiful, beautiful poetry surrounds us, yet sometimes we become so crunched into our tiny busy lives we fail to perk up our ears or open our eyes and just experience GOD! In all His glory, made manifest right here among us. Right here within us– as we are God’s temple.
Praises, Lord Jesus! May my entire life tell of the glories of our God and Savior!
