Inspiring People
November 22nd, 2009CHRIST THE KING/REIGN OF CHRIST
Sunday’s Reflection
WHO ARE SOME of the top thirty “mighty men” and women in your life [See 2 Samuel 23:8-39, NIV]? Make a list of five persons whom you have admired during the course of your life, and recount their exploits. Then write a second list of five characters in the Bible whom you have admired or perhaps tried to emulate. Pair up people from your admiration list with people from your biblical list by noting similar characteristics. Imagine yourself speaking to each one in turn about what they mean to you. Thank God for what their presence or inspiration has meant in your life.
