I hope I have helped my husband to gain more self-confidence. Although he is a very God fearing person and has more knowledge about the Bible than I have, he is always tensed about everything. I am able to assure him each time that God is with him and will provide solutions to all problems as God is doing always.
My family and I have showed my roommate that there is a God and he is Love. Now my roommate goes to church with us every Sunday. I am so thankful that thru God we can show and teach others that there is a better way of life. Thank you God for being so loving…Amen!
Clarence – I saw your post from last night – I certainly will take you and your situation to the Throne of Grace. Thanks for sharing – there are many faithful prayer warriors here who will intercede on your behalf.
I am not sure about an answer to today’s question. I know others have certainly seen a change in me – and with my closest friends I think it is their strength in Christ that has impacted me. I will trust the Father to use me so that others can feel as I feel.
I have you my strength in God with my cousin Missy. She is discourage fighting with the city of Calhoun. Her voice is weak and she is discouraged by rejection. I reminded her about Jesus and his many encounters of hatred and back stabbing . How he never face up but always called on God the heavenly Father for strength and guidance. I can do all things through God who strengthens me. Missy admits that God is her strength and when you ask him to fight your battles he will.
My Aunt Louise has always been a model to me of quiet fortitude in God. There are also several ladies at my church that, in their strength in God, I see what I want to be, and I know that it is good.
I would like to think that I’ve helped other addicts with the strength that Christ has given me to battle my own addiction to drugs. Without His grace, love and mercy, I wouldn’t have made it this far. I give Him all the glory. He delivered me from that ‘old’ life and has given me a chance at this ‘new life’.
I may not be exactly where I want to be, but thank God I’m not where I was.
Pray that I may intercede today in unChrist like sabotage to a person in our church who has limitations that interfere with her presentations
and leadership. I have been behind the scenes providing technical and informational support but it seems more is needed to help her focus and stay on task. She has a lot to offer and she has a need to be validated. Her handicap causes her to act and react with her emotions and has harmed her witness and credibility. The undermining by others has been gong on for a long time and it is a heart attitude that affects all aspects of the life of our small church. While I am a work in progress I question, “Who am I?” to confront this wrong and help mature this one spiritually. Please pray for wisdom and confidence in this task.
We may or may not know whom we have helped to grow stronger because of our strength in Christ. But I do hope that, just as my grand parents and parents have influenced me by their lives, I too by His grace as a Christian witness has helped at least a few whom I have come in contact in my lifetime for God’s glory. I know for certain that only by deriving strength from Christ I am able to face all matters of life, whether they are small or great. I totaly agree with Vivian Bright on this morning’s reflection.
Somehow along the way, my son has become more agnostic than anything. I pray that my open reliance on God, the witness of the many miracles and my framing events within a spiritual context has proven helpful to him. I hope my life is a testament to my son.
I hope to be able to share God’s strength with the owner of the company that I work for. He has been in the midst of what I believe is a severe spiritual battle for his body, heart and soul. Over the past severl years he has had a Job like experience loosing almost everything including his family, friends, helath and half of his wealth in a bitter divorce. He seems to have sunk into a bitter depression and has not been seen around the office for several months. I am hoping to begin to visit him and perhaps show him God’s Love. Maybe it will help him through this time.
Thanks to my great-grandfather, I have always felt the desire to go to church even as a child when my parents didn’t go. I’ve drifted away from time to time but my daily devotions are helping me come back to the Lord. I pray that I have the same impact on someone during my lifetime. Thank you Papa and thank you Lord!
I have to agree with Jay. I was the same way. Even if my parents did not always have the desire to attend church every Sunday when I was able I would try my best attend. There are times I drift away, but I always find my way back thru my daily bible readings and devotions. I would also like to think that I have strengthen my children and my husband because of Christs strength in me. Father I love you and will continue to do my best through the love you give me and through your strength in me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
I am grateful to grandmothers for making sure that I was grounded in church, didn’t always stay but the foundation was there. Hopefully I have been an inspiration to my family for the love of Jesus. It is true we never know who we can be a light to so we have to be sure that the light is always shining. Amen
Blessings
Christ’s strength in me has given me hope and trust that I didn’t have before. I hope that as I grow in my relationship with Him that I might be at least a glimmer of His radiant love.
In the past recent years I have helped friends and family members when they faced medical and emotional trials. I would give them all the help I could physically and when appropiate, I would re-assure them with a Bible verse that applyed to their particular situation. I believe that my confidence in God and His Word helped to give these people a stronghold to lean on when they themselves had a lot to deal with. What help I was to these people was the fruit of Christ in me and His strength to bring everything together.
…she said to me, “I hear you speak all the time about how good God is and I never realized it for myself until now.” Yes, folks listen. Praise God!
