Father – I owe You more than my everything. I can never be grateful enough. Father – for the people You have brought into my life – the ones who have taught me of You, have brought me closer to You – even those with whom it has been a struggle – the path ultimately led to You – thank You. Father – thank You for a church where I hear Your Word taught faithfully. Father – use me to further Your Kingdom – give me a willing spirit.

Lord, each and every step of my life you have been moulding me and I thank you with all my heart. Recently you have healed me of my illness. I have been healthy and energetic for the past 2 weeks without any pain and I know that it’s due to your Grace and Mercy only. Thank you so much Lord. Also, thank you for solving all the problems and issues we face each and every day. The list goes on and on… Thank you so much Lord. Amen

Which is my world? Are there separate worlds for all the good things that happen around me and for all the destruction and calamities I hear and read about?

I do thank God for all the good and appreciate very much His love and kindness showered upon me in many ways, though I am not worthy in any way than any one who is caught up in the sphere of calamity.

God in His grace has given the same world for all of us. How we treat each other and share what we have, in whatever way possible will help. Knowing Christ and following Him by His grace will give us the strength to do what is right. May be it is only right, to face the struggles of life in love and compassion for each other.

I thank God for all that He is to me through Christ my saviour.

Father, thank you for this day, the birds singing outside my window, my new friend, Lois, our Lenten study, the Holy Spirit within us and our dear friend Jesus.

Lastly, thank you for never letting me go, even as I tried to run.

Spring approaches. I thank you God of power and might for the miracles–the greening of the grass, the melting of the snow, the birds singing, the gradual warming of the air, the mighty waters as they rage. Keep us safe, and help me to be forever grateful for your wonderful gifts to me.

I thank God for calming my anxious heart about a potential competitor. I know he has a plan for good for the both of us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the changes that You have made in me and in my life. I wake up each morning so grateful for this new day…so grateful to not be enslaved by the drugs that were destroying my life. Thank You for this new life that I have serving You. You’ve brought me so far from where I once was and I want to spend the rest of my life worshiping and praising Your Name.

Father, even when I see so many friends and family members facing tremendous stuggles I give thanks to you for your grace. Please comfort them and help them know that you are near. Thank you for always being with me and the change that your presence has brought to me and others that I come in contact with each day. Amen

Packia, I appreciated your words today. Sometimes I think that people act as if there are two different worlds, yet Christ has set me in the reality of this world as it is, as it suffers. But he allows me to find his grace and thus to offer thanksgiving, realizing that it was for this fallen, tremendous mess that scripture says “God so loved the world.”

I wrote a prayer trying to identify all the changes Christ made in my world. It takes some discernment for me to do this. . .

According to 2 Corinthians 5, I am to be an ambassador for Christ, and to appeal to others to be reconciled to God.

People I’m in contact with through business are in such turmoil, and I see there is a limited amount that I can do. . .I can’t solve all their problems. They need prayer. Many need to understand that reconciliation with God and other people is the answer. That I could be an effective ambassador for Christ! My effectiveness should not be my concern. . .the point is that I do something to be an ambassador. . ..

I was ordering take out on Tuesday evening and met a woman who’s in the cleaning business. . .She gave me her card. On the back there was a scriptural notation. . .a reference to John 3:16. . . She attributed to God our chance meeting. . .May I be Christ like in my dealings with others, including my customers!

One topic in the readings is confession of sin and the relief you get from this. What a load off my back to confess my sin. . . It is not magic. It is real.

Thank you Father God for the birds and the quail in the yard, for the snow 2 days ago, for the lady in the store parking lot that gave the homeless man a bag of groceries. All of these things and more make for a beautiful world amongst all of the trouble and turmoil that surrounds us. Thank you for the gift of Your Son who gave his life that I may live life abundantly in His love and glory. Amen
Blessings

Thank you so very much Lord for changing my life so you won’t find me dancing on the bar room floor anymore. Thank you for clearing the haze and filth from my life and taking my hand and leading me out of the mess I made of life. Thanks for the reminders and your strength which keeps me from returning. Thanks for the hope of tomorrow Lord. I can live because you live. Like the song says, Thanks to Calvary I don’t go there anymore and I am not the woman I used to be.

Oh my precious God, I give you thanks for my daily living and needs. I give you thanks for knowing your Love and compassion. I thank you for giving me parents to show me the right way, growing up, even in back sliding in the past, I knew where to come home to and that is you God.

In your name wr pray…..Amen!

I was in despair, Father, but You gave me hope.
I was scared, and You gave me courage.
I was weak, and You gave me strength.
I was doubtful, but You believed in me anyway.
I was rebellious, but You were patient and understanding.
I was all of these things and more, and too often I still am, but You love me anyway and welcome me always with open arms.
Thank You, Abba, for never giving up on me; for loving me beyond my understanding. May the love I give You grow day by day in the ways Your love teaches me.
