For all sessions:

• Name tags
• Bibles
• Roll or sheets of newsprint and markers
• Copies of opening prayer
• Copies of litany introducing the week's theme
• Copies of the week's "This Week at Home" suggestion

Session 1 Materials:

• Bibles
• Hymnals
• Copies of The Upper Room for each participant
• A copy of "This Week at Home" for each participant
• Ashes to use in closing prayer time

For Session 1 Intergenerational Activities:

• Chairs that can be rearranged (one for each person)
• Construction paper
• Crayons

Session 2 Materials:

• A copy of "This Week at Home" for each participant
• Display copies of scripture references from the week's meditations in The Upper Room
• Display copies of questions for reflection/discussion (see below)
• Copies of paragraph describing how one person came to know Christ (see below)

For Session 2 Intergenerational Activities:

Session 3 Materials:

• Copies of The Upper Room for each participant

• Index cards with statements about God (see below)
• A copy of "This Week at Home" for each participant

For Session 3 Intergenerational Activities:

• Large sheets of paper with statements about God (see below)
• Poster board
• Magazines for cutting out pictures of people
• Scissors for each group
• Glue or tape for making collages

Session 4 Materials:

• Bibles
• Hymnals
• A copy of "This Week at Home" for each participant
• Words to first verse and refrain of hymn "I Love to Tell the Story" (if the hymn is not in your hymnals)
• Display copies of scripture references from the week's meditations in The Upper Room
• Display copies of questions for reflection/discussion (see below)
• Dictionaries and concordances (one for each activity group)
• Candles and matches
• Paper candle holders (to catch hot wax)

For Session 4 Intergenerational Activities:

• Construction paper
• Glue and tape
• Display copy of poem for writing activity (see below)

Session 5 Materials:

• Display copies of scripture references from the week's meditations in The Upper Room
• Display copies of questions for reflection/discussion (see below)

• Depictions of scenes from Jesus' ministry

For Session 5 Intergenerational Activities:
