Upper Room Ministries® began in 1935 with the creation of The Upper Room -- the first daily devotional guide of its kind. This faithful response to the spiritual needs of the Depression generation launched a ministry which today reaches out to millions of people throughout the world every day. Over the years we have provided The Upper Room and other resources for the spiritual development of individuals (both lay and clergy), groups, and faith communities. Today Upper Room Ministries meets the spiritual needs of people through devotional magazines, dozens of books and printed resources, our ministry of intercessory prayer, and programs of guided study (lasting from a few days to two years). We have a bold vision for the future. This vision is grounded in faith and offered in the hope that we can provide spiritual sustenance and support to hundreds of thousands more people around the world. But we need your partnership if this vision is to be realized.

Upper Room Ministries is not supported by any denominational funding. We rely for funding on the sale of our products and from contributions from individuals who feel this ministry is important. Persons who wish support Upper Room Ministries may do so by using a variety of donor options both online and by mail.
