Please give your son all the love and affection that he needs, even if it means asking your professors for an extension on papers. Continue to pray and ask Father God and Lord Jesus to intervene and grant you wisdom, guidance, and patience. I have prayed for you and for your son. It sounds like both of you have a lot going on. You are not a failure as a parent. Your son needs you, desperately. You said that you are a single mom. Try to see things through his eyes. Please, please don't yell at your little boy. He needs you. Sit with him and listen, play with him, see him for the very little boy he is. God is with you.
