BethLauren, I am praying for you! One thing that has helped me with the anger of what happened to me is to pray blessings to the other person when I feel bad thoughts coming in about them. Instead of thinking why did you do this to me or this wasn’t right or reliving a memory that’s etched into my mind, I instead interrupt that and start offering blessings. “I hope you’re having a good day. I hope your family is good. I hope you’re changing your life. I hope you’re letting God work in you. I hope your day brings you joy.” Etc. And that’s the only thing besides doing physical activity or being with my dog or plants that sometimes offers me peace. I hope it can help you too! I’m praying for you and your son!!
