Dear Revdino, I pray God’s healing over your son’s drug addiction. Lord God, heal this young man. Take away the taste and desire and fill him up with wanting to know You. Bless this mother as she faces embarrassment because of her son’s actions. Help her to understand that he made those choices and there are consequences. Give her a peace that surpasses all understanding. I humbly lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen

Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Revdino's son to you for a spiritual awakening. Please touch his heart so that he has a desire to go to a rehab facility for treatment. May he and his family see whether the Salvation Army has a rehab in their area. I also pray that Revdino's family will all pray together and draw closer to you and Lord Jesus. Let them always put you and Lord Jesus first in their daily lives. May they focus on you, your grace and mercy, not on their issues. For hope, they can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Revdino might find it helpful to visit the "Focus on the Family" website, www.focusonthefamily.com, a Christian ministry. They might have resources available that can give the family insights about how to handle the son's addiction. They also have counselors available. There's a possibility that they might not charge a fee because of grants, but let Revdino check on this first.
