  <p>Dear Lord,

Today, I lift to You, someone who is bravely battling addiction. I ask You to wrap them in Your loving arms and fill their hearts with hope and strength. Remind them that there is always light with You, even in the darkest moments. Help them to find solace in Your presence, guiding them to establish a deep and personal relationship with Jesus that becomes their foundation in times of struggle.

Lord, surround them with new friends who uplift and support them, individuals who encourage their growth and walk beside them on this healing journey. Please help them seek out alternative activities that bring joy and fulfillment, steering their focus away from the chains of addiction. Fill their lives with healthy relationships and positive experiences reaffirming their value and worth.

Instill in them a profound sense of self-love, reminding them that they are beautifully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Let them see their potential and the purpose You have placed in their heart.

I also pray that they find strength in Scripture, such as Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.” Let these words be a source of motivation and reassurance in their recovery.

Help them recognize the power they hold through You, Lord, and may they lean on You for resilience and comfort. As they take each step forward, may they feel Your presence guiding them toward a brighter, addiction-free future filled with hope, love, and joy.

In Jesus’ name, I pray for their healing and renewal. Amen.
