Myprayer, I am praying for you This is from 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and it says basically to Thank God IN everything (meaning every situation) not FOR everything, because God does not cause all of your problems. So, basically I would recommend changing your prayer to "Dear Jesus, thank You in everything>" (notice that I changed the "for" to "in" as is found in 1 Thessalonians 5:18. May Peace be with you.
