jstme, I am praying for you. Lord, thank you for this parent's prayer for the son and his ended relationship. You promise comfort us in our time of grief so we ask you to do that for this young man. Let him feel Your comfort in a real and tangible way. So that he will be able to respond with empathy to someone else that is going through this very same thing. And be with his ex-girlfriend who is grieving also I'm sure. Comfort her in the same way. Thank you that his parents are submitting the matter to your will. But they have made their desires known to You about the relationship. So I agree with them in prayer that this relationship be done with for good. You tell us that when we delight ourselves in You, You give us the desires of our heart. Help these parents find their true delight in you Lord. We place this all in Your hands. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
