Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Maxime to you so that the burden of shame from past sins will be eliminated. I pray that Maxime has faith in you, Lord Jesus, and will ask you to become his or her Lord and Savior so that sins will be forgiven through your blood on the cross and Maxime will repent. Maxime might want to read a short article, "Got Forgiveness?" on the gotquestions.org website. They also have a short video, "How to be Forgiven by God." A good psalm for Maxime to read is Psalm 103, especially verse 12, which shows how you will forget our transgressions - "As far as the east is from the west so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
