Proverbs 22:4-6 - “By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Raising up a child in today’s world is a task filled with worry and defense. There is so much that is just out there that can lead a child astray and we as parents could never know about until it is to late. There is truth in bringing a child up learning from the scriptures and other believers in the Church. Though they may not know it the words of God are being written upon their hearts and will come to reveal a great thing in them when they need it and in Gods time. -Lord God of Heaven and Earth, You Lord have ordered the steps of all Your creation. Therefore, You alone know the outcome of the teachings we bestow upon our children. May we continue to pass on the good and wonderous truths we learn from You. Bless them with a passion for You and Your Word. Guide each of us in Your ways so that our paths, their paths may be pleasing to You and bring You glory. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
