Sullivan29, I am praying for you! Fear of dying is the devil placing fear inside of you and holding you to this world. Dying isn't the end , but the beginning of a much greater life for eternity with our FATHER. I understand it is hard to accept or let go of so many and so much, and GOD is giving you this time to focus on what is important to you here and not worry about what is happening to you within. Remember HE holds the key to life and can change anything at any time. Just remember how job lived and what he experienced, don't allow fear to get in the way of peace and love or the time you do have here . Be humble no matter the outcome and be pleasing to GOD'S eyes and heart until the end of this life, no matter how long or short it may be . Use what we see as a tragedy as a tool to inspire someone else and possibly leading them home. You now have experience with something that gives you an open door to move others to christ. So be strong brother/sister! Be faithful and joyful in the journey. Have no fear of what you don't understand. GOD the FATHER has you in HIS hands !
