LEO-Mom302, I am very sorry for your loss and how you are feeling. I know that it is difficult to contend with losing a child in such a manner. But know that God is with your son and also with you and you must embrace strength and goodwill to carry on. When your son took that job he surely knew that he would be placing his life in constant danger but he evidently loved doing what he was doing and the occurrence that happened is unfortunate but God has called him home. We do not always know why God calls our loved ones home. We would love for them to be with us always but our desires and plans are not always God's. He is omniscient and knows far better than we will ever know why things happen in the way that they do. Be comforted to know that there is an Afterlife as God has assured us of and that your son is now living there comfortably and that is for eternity. You will see him again at your own appointed time. Until then you must keep your faith in God. The adversary would like for you to grieve and to worry as that is what he does. But know that all is well with your son and he is still with you in spirit! Pray to God for your son as God hears our prayers. As you do you will find that strength and peace will come to you.
