What are your friend's health problems? Regarding yours, you might try seeing a naturopath, a clinical herbalist, or a TCM doctor. But I don't know if you could afford it. It's possible they could get you back on the right path though. Is there anything you could do, budget wise? Herbs might be the cheapest option because once you understand how they work, you can prepare them yourself. Is there anyone who can take you to an herbalist, a naturopath, or a TCM doctor in your area? It's possible one of these people could get your health problems straightened out. But you talk about moving into a low-income apartment, so I don't know how much money you have.
