Please touch their hearts spiritually and give them a desire to want to know you, Lord Jesus, and have faith in you by reading the gospels. Let them pray each day. May they be thankful of your past blessings, Father God and Lord Jesus. They can also focus on Proverbs 8:17, "I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me." Another Scripture that might help is Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
