If you can’t help them with money right now, then maybe you can at least help them with emotional support. Is there anything you can do for them that would help make a difference, that can be done without money? Maybe even helping them plan their budget? Or babysitting their children so that they don’t have to pay for that and have extra time to get a second part-time job. Get creative. Sometimes even if you don’t have money, there are things you can still do to increase the amount of money available if everyone works together.
