Visit the American Herbalist Association to find an herbalist in your area. Or visit the American Association of Naturopathic Practitioners to find a naturopath doctor in your area. You could also look for an Ayurvedic doctor or Chinese medicine doctor. Word of caution. Herbs can interact with drugs, so you need to tell them all the drugs you are currently taking. An herbalist or naturopath doctor might be able to actually help you get well and improve your health. That said, insurance will not pay for it. Herbs can be cheap sometimes; but naturopath doctors are not always cheap. Can someone help you pay for this right now? It might be worth the loan to actually get your health back. If you health improves, will you be able to leave the nursing home and/or get a job?
