JCGLK, I am praying for you and your son. Dear Lord, By the power of Your Spirit, motivate JCGLK’s son to eat healthier and get regular exercise so that he energetically can live all his days serving You. Amen
JCGLK, I am praying for you... Father, I stand with this mother for her son. We ask that Your Spirit works in his heart to help him heal and overcome any soul wound and insecurity that would drive him to food. We ask that his appetites turn towards the things of God. That he would begin to hunger and thirst for You, Your Word, and for time in prayer. Restore a respect for his own temple. To honor it with healthy habits, restraint from impulses to over indulge, and to begin to respect his body with practices that strengthen and fortify it for health and longevity. Minister Your love and acceptance toward him, Lord. Bring near people who affirm and encourage his worth in You and who are healthy sources of encouragement. Remove those who are a negative and discouraging influence. Bless this mom with wisdom to say the right things at the right time and to know how to stand with her son through this process of growth and adjustments. Bless the entire family with refreshing, unity, and increasing joy. In Jesus's name, amen!
