Has your son ever tried Bach flowers? They might be able to help him with some of his issues. Also, there is a place called Alternative to Meds. They are a group of naturopathic doctors who say they can help people with mental illnesses. You might want to look them up. They sound very credible.

Hear the cry & the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day. Hear the supplication of your servant & of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place, & when you hear, forgive. Jer 17:7-8“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought & never fails to bear fruit. Deut 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you & will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.”
