Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Pslm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted & saves those who are crushed in spirit. Isaiah 41:9b-10 ‘You are my servant’, I have chosen you & have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you & help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand Deut 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you & will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Rom 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Cor 1:3-4a “Praise be to the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion & the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles,” Pslm 46:1, 10a, 11 God is our refuge & strength, an ever-present help in trouble. He says, “Be still, & know that I am God” The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our fortress. Exodus 33:14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Matt 6:25, 33 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
