Lucinda, I am praying for you. As a mom, I know nothing haunts us more than worries about our children. The devil knows our weak spots. The world can be enticing and deceptively try to captivate our children. Keep praying. That is your BEST and most POWERFUL weapon. Every day....pray for your son. Spend time in the Bible and moments of silence with God. Tell Him everything you are worried about, and turn it over to God. I PROMISE you He is stronger and bigger and wiser than ANYTHING your son may face. And, it removes the worry that weighs you down and steals your joy and peace. Persistence is important. Don't ever stop praying. It took YEARS for my son to give up his anger towards God after my dad died. My son was 17 when my dad died and my son was so close with him. He could talk to my dad about anything and turned to him often. When he died, my son was so angry. He literally watched my dad take his last breath. I kept steering him to talk to God. I challenged him to let out all his anger and grief at God. To hit him with any and all questions he had. I KNEW God would hear his anguish and would answer him. But, I can say that now...my son is going to be 28 in November and he has come to Christ. He sends me quotes from the Bible and we have discussions about things he understands now. We share the Bible app together. It has been an amazing transformation. It took my belief and my faith in Christ to keep praying. And it took my son to finally reach out to God. But God did the rest. Like only God can do.
Keep your faith! I'm praying for you and your son!
