Jesus offered hope by teaching that God loves us, offers forgiveness and eternal life, and can be trusted to overcome any difficulty. He assured his followers, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). His central message of hope is found in His resurrection, assuring believers they will have new and eternal life through faith in Him.
