Don't pray to the Christian god. I don't particularly like having to say this, but the Christian religion is not morally upright. There are other spiritual traditions you can look to in this world to find faith or help you improve your character. I suggest you find some.
You might want to talk to a naturopathic doctor (ND), an herbalist, a TCM (traditional chinese medicine doctor), or an Ayurvedic doctor. These people are good at finding problems that normal doctors can't.
