Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace, please heal Gabriel's father of his emotional wounds and awaken him spiritually so that he has sustained hope and peace. Perhaps he will eventually ask you, Lord Jesus, to save him so he can be born again. For now, please bless Gabriel's father with faith in you. When we have faith in you, all is surely possible. I also pray that you will help Gabriel to have ongoing patience and hope for his father. Perhaps Gabriel can share with his father stories from the Bible about the importance of faith. Hebrews 11 would be a good place to start. Also, the story of Joseph who was mistreated by his brothers is another example of one who had faith and persevered.
