Sovereign Lord, God of Truth and Freedom, we lift up Your child, Serge, who is currently under spiritual pressure and torment. Lord, he recognizes that the enemy is using tactics of spiritual legalism and distorted teachings about forgiveness to manipulate his emotions and feelings. We declare that the power of this spiritual legalism is broken right now in the Name of Jesus Christ. Where the enemy has fabricated a "Satanic version" of Your truth to bind his mind, let Your authentic, liberating truth flood his heart and mind. Release him from the manipulation of his emotions. Silence every deceptive voice that twists his feelings of guilt into a legalistic sentence. Restore his mind to clarity and grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding. Release him from the need to feel forgiven in a certain way, and grant him the faith to simply receive his freedom as a completed work on the cross. Lord, replace the spirit of condemnation with the Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8:15), so that Serge may know without a doubt that he is Your dearly loved child, protected by Your grace and not by his perfect performance. Grant him the discernment to know the difference between the conviction of the Holy Spirit (which leads to life) and the accusations of the enemy (which lead to torment). May the power of Your finished work set Serge completely free to walk in the light and liberty You intended. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
