God’sgotthis, I am praying for you. I too had a difficult relationship with my mother. I was adopted and never felt her unconditional love. It’s hard to walk away when it’s for your own sanity. You try so hard, but finally come to realize you will never be able to please them. You wrestle with the decision you made as I did. My mother passed many years ago, and I still talk about it with God. May God give you peace and assurance on your decision. How mother’s can treat their children so cruelly is not what God intended.
