Father God we humbly come before you struck with grief over everything that is happening in this world, from wars, to grievous disrespect for others and property, but especially the attitude of selfishness and greed. Please Lord be with the girl in Chicago and heal her wounds inside and out. Help her to sense you in this tragedy. Please be with all of those who live in the countries that are experiencing war. Please open their eyes, ears, hearts, minds and spirits to you Lord to sense the wrong they are doing and how you are calling them to be more like your son, Jesus. We just thank you for your love and your forgiveness. Amen
