Dear Melanie, I encourage you to surround yourself with fellow Christians who can share their own testimonies about God's and Jesus's precious love for them and their presence in their lives. Also, focus on the gospels so that you can get to know Jesus better and all the love he showed to the apostles, sinners, strangers, and so on. As you know, Father God demonstrated his mighty love for us when he gave up his dear son, Lord Jesus Christ, to be crucified on the cross for our sins and raised him from the dead three days later. This is pure love for us. Lord Jesus's precious blood on the cross also showed his abundant love for us. The amazing gift of salvation to us is another example of God's and Jesus's love. The promise of giving believers eternal life with them after we pass away is another indicator of their love. The list goes on. We are dearly loved by Father God and Lord Jesus. Melanie, you can focus on Romans 8:38-39. Also, in terms of your concerns about curses or harm, meditate on Psalm 121:7-8, which says, "The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
