GoldyLocks345, I am praying for you
Dear Father God, I come before You today to lift up both GoldyLocks345 who was hurt and Nancy Jarrett. Lord, You know the pain and frustration caused by words that devalue the beauty of Your creation. We ask for Your healing touch upon the heart of GoldyLocks345 who received these inflammatory comments. Remind her of her inherent worth and the intentionality with which You crafted every detail of her being, including her hair and heritage. I also pray specifically for Nancy. We ask that You would do a transformative work in her heart. Soften her perspective and open her eyes to the bias and prejudice within her. We pray that You would teach her to value, respect, and celebrate African American features and culture. Replace ignorance with understanding, and judgment with a sincere spirit of love and acceptance. May Your grace lead to a change in her character, so that her future words and actions reflect the equality and dignity You have given to every person. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
