I started applying immediately to other places, thinking it would give me interviewing experience until my one year of unemployment benefit ran out. However, I received an offer within 3 months, and took a job making more than before. I was 48 years old. It wasn't my dream job, but I retired from that job 15 years later, with several good benefits. I pray God will bless you with perfect employment and that your dear son can move forward.
