Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up to you Jan Lastater, whose husband, Bobby, died recently. Please comfort her as she grieves. She can meditate on Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I pray that she is surrounded by supportive people who can offer encouragement. I also pray that Jan Lastater's surgery to remove her little toe goes smoothly. Let her healing and recovery go well. May she draw close to you, Father God and Lord Jesus, during this difficult time of grieving and preparing for surgery. Let her pray each day for your blessings and divine guidance. She can also meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Let all go well. In Jesus's name, I pray.
