Dear melinda43, I pray that your childhood friend's husband will be healed from his illness through God's almighty powerful healing hand. I pray for him to be given sustained strength and hope. I also pray that your friend's oldest brother, Michael, will be comforted while he's in the hospice. If Michael hasn't been saved or born again, may the family consider having a pastor talk to him about his last wishes and, more importantly, about Lord Jesus's precious gift of salvation. May the entire family pray in faith daily for Father God's and Lord Jesus's divine interventions. Prayers are indeed powerful. God hears our prayers. The family can also meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." For hope about healing, the family can focus on Lord Jesus's awesome, supernatural healing ministry.
