Lord, You know how hard it is for some people to over any kind of addiction, but You are the Master Healer, and with one touch of Your finger, they can be healed. robertzaleskrlj, I am praying for you. Because I know what you're feeling. While it is true that God wants us to take care of our bodies as his temple, he also knows we are human and that getting our health corrected and perfect in one night is probably not gonna happen. Make a plan to quit--and pray for guidance in that. Step by step. It is all about where your heart is. And you know what? I smoke cigarettes, and I'm not proud. BUT--through God's grace and strength, I've conquered another addiction. All in due time. Smoking is next on my list. Make it next on your list, too. But attack it with HIS help, and follow a plan (whatever method you choose to quit). And while we can backslide, once you're in the blood of Christ, you're in. I'm praying for you--you've got this!
