Adictions Psalms 119 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:130 The entrance of Your words gives light. The whole world is in darkness and God's Word brings light. Light always overcomes darkness So what ever darkness you are in God's Word is the answer to setting you free. So read God's Word for 30 minutes a day starting in Mathew for one month and the light of God's Word will heal you from your addiction and set you free. Satan uses sin and addictions to entice us to be slaves to sin and it will eventually harm us. Then he can control our lives is a very unholy way. God offers His help and He says " Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." 1John 4:4. Jesus said He will set you free. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 Addictions are almost always caused by demons influencing our minds So bind all evil spirits out of your life and pray a hedge of protection around yourself and put on God's Armor. Then watch and pray and watch how God will deliver you. Here are some scriptures to help you break your addiction No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10 Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26

If you are feeling anxious or fearful those feelings are coming from your flesh. Your spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience and a sound mind. God says to be led by your spirit and crucify your flesh. Your spirit has unlimited power through Christ and has the ability to solve all of your fears and problems. Below is what God says about fear and anxiety Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus 2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
