Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up VirginiaR's mother, Lindsay O. R., to you for you to soften her heart and let it be filled with love for herself and others. Please also bless her with sustained peace and a spirit of forgiveness. May the daughter encourage her mother to search for you, Lord Jesus, read the gospels, and develop faith in you so that she can be saved. May Lindsay become familiar with the two greatest commandments, Matthew 22:36-40. Also, Lindsay might benefit from reading 1 Corinthians 13, which is about love. It says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Another Scripture that might help her is Psalm 103, which focuses on God's love and benefits. May all go well.
