Heavenly Father, I lift up Sonny to You today. Lord, You know the seriousness of his condition as he battles bladder and liver cancer, and now faces a blood clot on his lung while in the ICU. I pray that You place Your healing hand upon him, strengthen his body, and bring stability to every aspect of his health. Father, I pray that the blood clot would be safely resolved, that his breathing would be restored, and that his extreme fatigue would be replaced with renewed strength. If it is Your will, I pray for complete healing and that he would soon be able to resume the treatment that offers him the best hope. Please give wisdom, discernment, and skill to every doctor, nurse, and specialist caring for Sonny. Guide every decision they make and let his treatment be effective. Lord, surround Sonny and his loved ones with Your peace, comfort, and hope. Remind them that You are near, that You are their refuge and strength, and that nothing is impossible for You. To You be all praise, glory, and honor. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
