TedT, I am praying for all mentioned, including our police officers. May God give us wisdom and open our eyes to truth and respect for all of God’s children.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up Daberga Street in San Diego before You. We ask for Your peace to rest upon that neighborhood and upon every person who lives, works, or travels there. Protect public workers, drivers, pedestrians, residents, and law enforcement officers alike. Give everyone wisdom, patience, self-control, and hearts that seek what is right. Where there is conflict or misunderstanding, bring understanding and reconciliation. Where there is any wrongdoing, let truth be revealed and justice be carried out with mercy and integrity. We ask that Your presence transform the atmosphere of the community. Let fear give way to peace, hostility to compassion, and division to unity. May Your goodness be evident, lives be protected, and many come to know the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ. We pray this in His mighty name. Amen.
