Heavenly Father, I lift up Taaj to You with a thankful heart. Thank You for the 15 days of sobriety You have already given him. I praise You for the work You are doing in his life and for the hope and strength You have provided during this journey. Lord, continue to strengthen Taaj each day. Guard his heart and mind against temptation, discouragement, and anything that would draw him away from You. When he feels resistance to prayer, remind him that You are always near and eager to hear his voice. Give him the courage to seek You daily and to stand firm in the freedom You are giving him. Father, surround Taaj with godly friends who will encourage him, keep him accountable, and help him grow in his faith. Fill his life with healthy purpose, lasting joy, and the peace that comes from walking closely with You. Help him to trust You one day at a time, knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your strength is made perfect in weakness. Lord, continue the good work You have begun in Taaj. Protect him from relapse, renew his mind, and help him experience the abundant life You have planned for him. To You be all praise, glory, and honor. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Bermuda, I pray for God’s high hedge of protection around you. I lived with alcoholism as a child and I can tell you upfront it was very bad.
