Dear David15401, I'm glad that you're making progress in your recovery by staying clean and sober. I pray that you will reach your goal of being completely delivered from your strongholds through the divine help of Father God and Lord Jesus. I pray that you will be blessed with patience and forgiveness so you can be relieved from your stress and anger. Continue to pray with all of your heart and ask for Father God's blessings and divine interventions. You can also meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which Father God says, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." David15401, you can also develop a personal, trusting relationship with Lord Jesus. Talk to him each day as you would with a dear, trusted friend. He surely welcomes our fellowship. Also, read the gospels and other Scriptures. You might also want to listen to the hymn, "Just a little talk with Jesus." As for your son, David Jr., I pray that he will be protected by Father God and Lord Jesus. He can meditate on Psalm 91:14-16, "God says, ‘Because you are devoted to me, I’ll rescue you. I’ll protect you because you know my name. Whenever you cry out to me, I’ll answer. I’ll be with you in troubling times. I’ll save you and glorify you. I’ll fill you full with old age. I’ll show you my salvation.’” May he join a Bible study group in prison. I also pray that you and your son will surround yourselves with fellow Christians who can share their faith with you. Consider joining a Christ-centered church in your area. Develop your faith in Lord Jesus. Ask him to increase your faith. You and your son can consider asking Lord Jesus for the precious and profound gift of salvation so you can be saved and born again. David. hello dear I pray you read today’s devotional in the upper room. Where David slew Goliath with sling and stone. He did it in the power of God and with God‘s strength. So I pray for you, David and for your son that you will fight your battles you know what they are. In the strength of God that you will become an overcomer that you will win the victory over drugs and alcohol. I also pray that you and your son will know the love of Jesus and that in Him you will be set free. And that you will both know His perfect peace. God bless you both.
