Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I pray that you will comfort the family members and the congregation of the preacher who passed away. Please give Z_ and the other church members spiritual and emotional strength during this difficult time. They can also meditate on Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I also pray that the people in the congregation who have not been saved or were considering salvation will be saved soon. Let them draw close to you, Lord Jesus, get to know you and your character and the gospel, deepen their faith in you, and ask you for your precious gift of salvation. May all go well.
