Heavenly Father, I lift up Debbie’s son to You today. Lord, I ask that Your Holy Spirit work powerfully within his heart and mind, giving him the strength and willingness to receive the help he needs and successfully complete treatment for substance abuse. Father, break the chains of addiction and protect him from temptation and relapse. Bring healing and restoration to his life, and surround him with people who will encourage and support him on the path to recovery. Most of all, Lord, soften his heart and draw him closer to You. Help him experience Your love, grace, and forgiveness, and lead him into the freedom and new life that are found in Jesus Christ. Please also strengthen Debbie and give her peace and hope as she continues to pray for her son. To You be all praise, glory, and honor. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
