Heavenly Father, I lift Helen up to You as she continues her journey through cancer. Please be especially close to her as she receives her chemotherapy treatment tomorrow. Give her strength, comfort, and peace, and protect her body throughout the treatment. Please lessen any difficult side effects and allow the chemotherapy to work effectively against the cancer. Father, guide Helen’s doctors and medical team with wisdom as they care for her. At 93 years old, please give her the strength she needs for each day and surround her with the love and encouragement of her family. Bring healing according to Your will, and let Helen and those who love her feel Your presence and peace throughout this journey. Thank You Father, for who You are—loving, kind, faithful, merciful and gracious. To You be all praise, glory, and honor. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
