Dear MaryCatherineD from Georgia, I pray for your broken heart. God is the mender of broken hearts. God knows the plans He has for you. His plans for you are for you only. Seeing someone you have feelings for with another person is painful. I pray you recognize the pain and give it to God. I pray you know that God has something bigger and greater for you. You are in high school and there’s so much more goodness in store for you. I pray you will eventually shake him off like water on the back of a duck. Lord, give her the strength to endure the pain of this painful experience. Heal her broken heart. Make it brand new. Bring her out of it victoriously. Mary, you are a winner and you will be alright.
