Loving and merciful God, We lift up Community Member and her family to You in their time of deep distress. You see the pain, fear, exhaustion, and anxiety that she carries each day. Please surround her with Your loving presence and remind her that she does not have to carry this burden alone. Lord, we especially pray for her son. You know his deepest struggles, his depression, his anger, and his dependence on drugs. Beneath all the anger and hurt, You know his heart. Please reach him in a way that only You can. Give him the strength and willingness to seek help, to break free from addiction, and to begin rebuilding his life. We pray also for his relationship with his father. Soften the anger and resentment between them. Help them see one another with compassion rather than blame, and, in Your time, open a path toward forgiveness, understanding, and reconciliation. And Lord, please protect Community Member. She is exhausted and afraid, yet she continues to love and pray for her son. Give her wisdom to know what she can do and what she must leave in Your hands. Give her courage to set healthy boundaries while continuing to love her son. Restore her peace and give her strength for each new day. Please protect this entire household from anger, violence, despair, and further harm. Open doors to the professional help, treatment, practical support, and resources this family needs. Where there seems to be no way forward, make a way. Lord, bring light into this dark and painful situation. May Your peace guard their hearts, Your wisdom guide their decisions, and Your love hold them together. In the name of Jesus Christ, our source of hope and healing, we pray. Amen.
