Heavenly Father, We come to You today lifting up goodbyeyesterday and his/her sibling, asking for Your powerful protection, peace, and healing to cover their home. Lord, You see the painful burdens they are carrying, and we ask that You intervene in their family situation right now. We ask for Your protection over these children from all abuse, cruelty, and fear. Soften their father’s heart and help him see the impact of his actions. Bring conviction, healing, and clarity to his mind, and lead him to the professional mental health support he so deeply needs. We pray that all anger, bitterness, and resentment holding his life bound would be completely broken and removed in Jesus' name, replaced instead by Your peace, self-control, and love. Lord, grant safety and stability so that they can remain in a secure living situation. Open the door for restoring communication with their mother without fear, anger, or retaliation. We also lift up their upcoming school year, praying that You give them focus, strength, and success to excel even more than last year. Smooth the path for them to attend the youth retreat next month, providing a place of rest, joy, and community. Surround them with Your peace and love, comfort their hearts, and remind them that they are never alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.
